Bridge Engineering

BASIS has extensive experience in the design of highway, rapid transit, railway, and pedestrian bridges, as well as rehabilitation and seismic retrofit of existing bridges. We also provide construction engineering for bridges of all kinds. We provide bridge design services for all levels of government, contractors, and private owners.

Geotechnical
Engineering

Our geotechnical engineers specialize in foundations for bridges and highways in complex soil and rock conditions and energy and industrial infrastructure. We have undertaken major geotechnical investigations throughout BC and provided construction monitoring for large piling projects. Our seismic design expertise includes liquefaction and slope stability assessment, as well as ground improvement and slope stabilization design.

Structural Engineering

We provide general structural engineering services for select clients in the industrial and residential sectors. We have experience in timber residential building design, retaining walls in steep terrain, and a variety of building, tank and vessel designs for the mining, water, and hydroelectric industries.
